Chapter 01: “The Murder Book” 🔪

On May 15th, 1998, Peter Knecht suffered a horrific, near-death experience that added new meaning to the phrase “Cutthroat Lawyer.”

At his home, one block North of the Sunset Strip, men attacked Peter on his property. His throat was slit from ear to ear, ironically falling victim to the kinds of men whose rights he often upheld in court.

Peter stopped the assailants from cord-cuffing his hands so they couldn’t manipulate him to enter his house. His bravery saved the lives of his wife Ava Healer and mother who were already inside.
