Some homecomings are especially meaningful: congratulations to Ed and Katie on their first home! 🏡

Five years ago, when they were dating and looking for a place between their workplaces, they moved into our rental just outside West Chester borough. They became wonderful tenants, and I’m so grateful they trusted me first as their landlord and later as their Realtor. Since then, there’s been an engagement, a wedding, and now a home of their own.

We knew the house needed some love, but the road to settlement brought a few unexpected hurdles: the septic failed, the radon system was broken, the water heater began leaking, and an improperly connected refrigerator caused a leak into the basement. Settlement was ultimately pushed back a month. Ed and Katie stayed the course, worked through each challenge, and trusted the process.

Their home still needs some care, but it has so much potential. I wish you both all the best and can’t wait to see what you do with it. Thank you for trusting me through both chapters.
