Beware of bank spoof calls! This just happened to me today: Caller ID showed my bank and number; they knew the last four digits of my account and my email; they were using FDIC language to fortify the story; and they sounded pretty dang legit. I wasn't even asked for any personal or financial info! Something just didn't feel right, though, and when I was told to drive to Walmart to verify in person . . . Naaahhhh!
Nearly three hours later after contacting my bank to report and secure everything, etc. . . . I'm warning you!

The madness continues . . .
Today I had to notify SS that another Client isn't getting SSI so please release the other $18K of past-due benefits.
So much EXTRA UNNECESSARY work!😵‍💫

SS will never cease to amaze me. My Client was just approved in January but received notice for a Continuing Disability Review (CDR) this week. It usually takes years before a CDR, and they're not optional, so I provided my Client with documentation and advised him to call. The agent didn't know why the letter was sent! 🤣

Fantastic news on two of the most unbelievable cases in over 20 years of practice! One Fully Favorable decision after the original application had to be refiled 11 months later and one Appeals Council Remand that never even went before a judge!
