Here is Andy Kottkamp with our 2022 Washington State Apple Blossom Royalty, Queen Rianne Salcido (far right), and, from left to right, Princesses Presley Nelson and Ainsley Shearer. We have been active volunteers with the festival since Andy moved to Wenatchee in 1991. We continue to sponsor the Most Original Speech scholarship ($1000!!) awarded at Pageant. Congratulations to Rita Escalera, the 2022 recipient! Andy has served on the Apple Blossom Board and Executive Committee, as well as Program Director, Assistant Director General and in 2018 Andy was honored to serve as the Director General. And of course our office is located at a prime location on the Grand Parade route and every year we have a BBQ where all our clients and friends, and their friends and new friends join us to enjoy this annual highlight of the Festival. Service to our community is very important to all of us at Kottkamp, Yedinak and Esworthy.

Friends Beware of a local phone scammer. A client called me and said that a warrant had been issued for her arrest and that she needed to withdraw 6500 cash and meet an officer to take care of it. The call came in using the Wenatchee police department phone number on her caller ID and used the name of a real police officer. The client is a smart cookie and came to me and when I started talking to the scammer, he unleashed a string of profanities. She said that he was very aggressive and threatening on the phone. This might ell scare someone into doing what he demanded. Please check on your vulnerable parents and friends and make sure they do not fall for this. The Wenatchee Police have been informed
