The basics: it covers code violations, health and safety conditions, utility connections, and accessibility work. Income limits run from 71,950 dollars for one person to 111,050 dollars for five. Orientation sessions start October 19 and you cannot apply without attending one. The portal runs November 9 to November 27, and the county picks 50 applications at random.
Now the part I would want a friend to tell me. This kind of help is normally recorded as a deferred loan secured by a lien on your home. Stay in the house and it gets forgiven over time. Sell it, and the balance typically comes due at closing.
