I am curious about the stance the Augusta County Commonwealth Attorney Tim Martin and the Augusta County Sheriff Donald Smith have or are taking regarding the Second Amendment issues facing residents of the County as well as the Commonwealth of Virginia. I’ve seen where no less than 12 other Sheriff’s and 14 Commonwealth Attorneys have made their beliefs and their dedication to their oath clear. I haven’t heard about where our elected officials stand in reference to the magazine and modern sporting rifle bans. Have I missed a statement? Has one been made? If not, will there be an official public statement made?
I have other concerns about our little corner of this world, but this one is approaching fast and I’d like to know where our folks stand.
Augusta County Sheriff's Office - Sheriff Donald L. Smith, Augusta County Commonwealth's Attorney Tim Martin. Can you provide some insight here please. Not only for me but other voters/tax payers as well. We’d appreciate it.
