"Christmas came early for Ryan!
A huge shoutout to the team for getting Ryan approved for Trikafta 6 months early—an incredible accomplishment in the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis. Just a few years ago, children and young adults didn’t have access to this life-saving treatment, and many lost their battle with CF. To know that my son has this tool at just 18 months is nothing short of amazing. I am beyond grateful to the life science community, especially Vertex, and to all the CF warriors who not only raised money but strategically invested in the drugs that are saving our children’s lives. Cystic fibrosis is a brutal disease, but the hope and support from this community are truly life-changing for my family. These drugs take billions of dollars to develop and bring to market, so for those of you who have chosen cystic fibrosis as your charity of choice, thank you. Your support has helped make these incredible treatments possible. However, we must continue the fight for a cure, as these are still chemicals we’re giving our kids. The work is far from over. . On a personal note, CF has affected my life both personally and professionally. My days now run from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and I’ve had to eliminate unnecessary distractions, focusing more than ever on health, exercise, and nutrition. We’re committed to getting stronger and healthier as a family.
Professionally, I’ve expanded my focus into the life sciences sector. While I’ve completed transactions in this field in the past, I’ve now fully immersed myself in the industry. I’ve joined Life Sciences Pennsylvania and am dedicated to making a meaningful impact in Real Estate and advocacy. My career has always been about double bottom-line deals—helping companies thrive while making a positive difference. While I may never be in the lab finding a cure for CF, I’m proud to help life science companies find the best spaces!
