Regional Manager Thoughts:
I was in an owners meeting today when one of the county of Madison reps said something so profound. “People today lack the ability to conduct conflict resolution when having issues with their neighbors.” In today’s society, people are afraid to just speak with their neighbor when they have an issue with noise, trash, w**d smoking or pet problems (just some examples). This causes a higher rate of police calls, wanting a third party to intervene when in past generations, could have been solved with a simple conversation of understanding.
Selfishness causes immature behavior. Selfishly placing your own comfort over their neighbors when you know it’s in violation of resident rules. Common decency and courtesy is missing where communities are compacted into apartment complexes. Approaching a neighbor with the right attitude is everything.
An apartment building is its own neighborhood. Working together to keep your place clean, safe and drama free is on the residents.
We all have to live somewhere. Make your place the place where people want to live! Respect others peace and privacy.
Stop stealing people packages!!
Make your kids pick up their trash and keep their dirty hands off the walls!! Keep a clean, pest free unit so that your neighbors don’t suffer with the critters of your filth.
What makes the ‘hood’ the hood? You left off being a neighbor! Get to know them. There is safety in unity.
