Yesterday the WI Court of Appeals issued a decision which held that drivers convicted of a 5th or 6th OWI/PAC, or ORCS, MUST serve time in prison. The presumptive minimum is eighteen (18) months, which can be reduced to one (1) year under certain circumstances.

At Snow Law we have handled cases involving clients with diabetes. If a person's blood sugar gets out of whack, they can appear to be impaired by alcohol. Today, Todd was able to secure 2 Not Guilty verdicts in a case where his client was accused of OWI and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Content. The client’s tested blood alcohol content was .144. The legal limit is .08. Relying on all his training and experience, Todd fought hard for his client and came out on top. Remember- you can’t win if you don’t fight!!!
