🌡️ Temperatures are expected to climb into the 90s later this week. As the heat rises, it's important to remember that older adults are at greater risk for heat-related illnesses.

People age 65 and older are more prone to heat-related health problems, so a quick check-in can make a big difference.

☀️ Stay safe on hot days:
💧 Drink more water than usual — don't wait until you're thirsty.
🏠 Stay in air-conditioned buildings as much as possible.
👕 Wear loose, lightweight, light-colored clothing.
📞 Check on an elderly friend, neighbor, or loved one — and ask someone to check on you, too.

A simple phone call or visit could help keep someone safe during extreme heat. Let's look out for one another and help our community stay healthy this summer.
