Dear Ron:
I am divorced and I have problems at almost every exchange. My ex is constantly changing the court ordered parenting time. It always favors him. He has little respect for the judge. Should I take him back to court? Should I meditate? What should I look for in a mediator?

Dear Ron:
My son has a disability, ADHD, and asthma. He is constantly bullied by other students and the school refuses to do anything. He is now having panic attacks and the bullying continued during the attack. Should I start a lawsuit and who do I sue, the school or just the student? Any other ideas?

Dear Ron:
I recently bought property and the neighbor told me there has been a boundary issue on this land for years. The seller did not disclose this and now the neighbor says my garage is on his property. What do I do? Is a lawsuit necessary? Do you have any ideas?

Dear Ron:
I am involved with my employer. He is really a nice guy but he has made a number of promises about promotion that he has not followed through with. Now he hired a new employee and she is taking over my job. Is this discrimination? Can a verbal contract be enforced in MN? In SD? Do I have a case?

Dear Ron:

I recently had an affair with my supervisor. My employer discovered the affair when we were both missing from work and met in our company vehicles. Our employer has a no dating rule of fellow employees. Is this rule legal? Do we have a claim against our employer?

Dear Ron:

I got toasted the other night and decided to walk to a friend's house who had said, I could stay overnight anytime when I had too many. He wasn't home but a roommate reported the incident after I had passed out. He claimed I took a credit card and when I woke up I had his credit card in my pocket. I returned the card the next day. I was charged with burglary. What should I do? Will the charges stick?

Dear Ron:
A friend and I started a business about five years ago and things were going very well until COVID hit. my friend didn't have any money to invest in the company when cash flow was bad, and I was forced to take a loan out. Now what is going a little better, but he has not paid the loan back. I think he owes 50%. He insists on getting 50% of the profit. I want out. I think it is only going to get worse. What do you advise? How do we divide the business up?

I live in South Dakota but work in Minnesota. My employer told me that I have to have proof of vaccination or do not show up for work on Monday. I am in the health care job force. If I quit do I get unemployment? Do I have any other options?

Dear Ron:

About a week ago I got into a disagreement with my spouse. We pushed and grabbed each other and law enforcement was called. A day later an Order for Protection was issued. My wife and I are talking on a cell phone and have decided to get rid of the Order for Protection. How do we do it? What steps do you recommend?
