Police are allowed to lie. Stop believing everything they say.

Police are allowed to investigate almost anything on the public roadways for a reasonable amount of time.

Stop asking why Police are running your plates, its what they are trained to do.

These concepts are hard for certain communities to understand because they want Police to have the highest integrity so we can trust them to protect our community, However they are consistently trained to do the opposite across this country.
