The US Department of State announced that it is preparing a limited release of a commemorative U.S. passport celebrating America's 250th birthday featuring an image of the current President of the United States, his signature, and text from the Declaration of Independence on the inside cover. Between 25,000 and 30,000 of the new passports will be available to applicants at the Washington, D.C., passport office beginning shortly before July 4.

Specific guidance regarding the limited release passports has not been issued by the State Department. Given applications submitted on behalf of Visas & Passports 2 Go, Inc clients are submitted through the Washington, DC passport office, we assume that passports issued to clients beginning shortly before July 4 will be the limited release version.

Visas & Passports 2 Go, Inc will keep clients informed, to include any opt out options, as we learn more.

Embassy of China – Washington, D.C. Holiday Closure Notice

Please be advised that the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Washington, D.C. will be closed from February 16 through February 18 in observance of the Chinese Spring Festival.

During this period, visa processing will be delayed.
