***Breaking News!!!***

Today, USCIS just announced a major change in how it will handle adjustment of status applications.

USCIS Policy Memorandum PM-602-199 indicates that non-immigrants who are seeking a green card (i.e. LPR status) must depart the U.S. and go through consular processing, instead of adjusting status, here in the USA.

“U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Will Grant ‘Adjustment of Status’ Only in Extraordinary Circumstances.”
