Today, we join our friends and colleagues in the first responder community to honor Boston Firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr., as he is laid to rest.

He was a true hero who died in the line of duty fighting a fire in Dorchester on May 23. We are grateful for his service and saddened by his loss.💙

As Massachusetts marks 250 years, we reflect on the legacy of service and sacrifice that continues to inspire those in EMS and public safety. We’re grateful for the EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and first responders who carry that commitment to serving others forward every day.

EMS is more than a profession. It is a family that stands beside one another through every challenge, every loss, and every call for help.

What an incredible way to celebrate EMS Week 💙🚑

Yesterday, EMS professionals from across Massachusetts came together for the sixth annual Convoy of Champions and 2026 Circle of Excellence Awards.

From the convoy procession to the moving stories shared during the awards ceremony, the day was a powerful reminder of the dedication, compassion, teamwork, and professionalism that define EMS across the Commonwealth.

We are proud to recognize this year’s Circle of Excellence honorees and grateful to everyone who participated, attended, and helped make the event possible. Thank you to our hosts at Boston MedFlight, our guest speakers, supporters, and the many EMS agencies who joined us in celebrating the people behind EMS.

This week is about honoring EMS, and yesterday was a true reflection of the strength of this profession.
