Agree or Disagree: Maybe groceries are sky-high because 42 million Americans get food for free?

Those who agree say that large-scale in-kind food transfers like SNAP for 1 in 8 Americans increase aggregate demand for groceries, contributing to price pressure—especially in concentrated markets or amid constrained supply.

Those who disagree say that claiming it's the reason groceries are "sky-high" ignores bigger supply shocks, monetary factors, regulations, labor costs, and energy.

None of us regret it—not one of the 77 million.

That is not a slogan. That is a fact the coastal media refuses to accept. They spent years calling us deplorables, racists, and cult members. They spent the last two years hunting for any poll that shows a fraction of young voters second-guessing their choice. Meanwhile the man in the MAGA hat stands in front of his barn with a simple message: we knew what we voted for and we still mean it.

We voted to end the open-border experiment that flooded our communities with unvetted millions. We voted to stop the inflation that was crushing grocery bills and farm diesel. We voted for someone who would actually use American energy instead of begging OPEC. The results are already visible to anyone who looks past the headlines. Border encounters down dramatically. Illegal population shrinking for the first time in decades. Law enforcement finally allowed to do the job.

The same people who told us Trump would start World War III are now mad that he is finishing the Iran fight instead of letting them drag it out forever. The same people who said “democracy dies” if he wins are furious that 77 million Americans exercised democracy and won. We do not owe them an apology. We owe our kids a country that still works.

That sign is not defiance for its own sake. It is a reminder that the people who feed this nation have not changed their minds.
