The Catholic University Law Review is happy to announce the publication of Volume 66, Issue 3. Covering a variety of topics, the articles in the issue discuss the status of Prisoner-Dog Training Programs (PDPs) in state and federal prisons, the fifty year journey for Miranda v. Arizona in the U.S. criminal justice system, removal orders versus the right to asylum, and the Freedom of Information Act.

On February 3, 2017, the Law Review hosted its annual Symposium. This year's Symposium was entitled “The Freedom Of Information Act: A Tool For Transparency, Knowledge, and Litigation.” The event provided an opportunity for students, faculty, and practitioners to hear from experts about the recent developments in FOIA and its impact on government transparency, knowledge, and litigation.

Today is the last day to sign up for the Tri-Journal Write-on Competition.

Because the school is closed, any student who wants to sign up can do so by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Students must include in the e-mail their 1) first and last name, 2) student ID number, 3) preferred contact e-mail address, and 4) preferred contact telephone number.

Students must also acknowledge in the e-mail that they will pay the $30.00 fee within a reasonable time. The original deadline by which to sign up for the competition was today at Noon. This deadline will be extended until 8:00 p.m. tonight!
