The Cochran Firm has been hired by the family of Trina Jones, a 62-year-old mother of four who was initially being struck by a hit-and-run driver suffering non-life threatening injuries, and then was run over and killed by a cruiser driven by an officer with the Fairfax County Police Department as she laid in intersection of Richmond Highway and Belford Drive in Hybla Valley on September 24th.

The family’s attorney, David Haynes, stated that “This officer’s conduct is inexcusable and it is hard to fathom that the officer that was dispatched to assist Ms. Jones was the one that killed her Once our investigation is completed, we will take appropriate steps to ensure justice for Ms. Jones’ children.”
