Congratulations to our client Mikhail Zadornov on his removal from the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s List of Specially Designated Nations and Blocked Persons (the SDN List). Persons designated on the SDN List are generally prohibited from all dealings with U.S. persons and their assets under U.S. jurisdiction are subject to blocking. Mr Zadornov was the President of Bank Otkritie (now part of the Bank of Moscow) and previously Finance Minister of the Russian Federation under President Boris Yeltsin.
