A US Federal Judge entered Judgment ordering Iran and Syria to pay $191 million in compensatory and punitive damages to the estate and family of Ari Fuld for his heinous murder by a HAMAS terrorist on September 16, 2018. The victims are represented by the DC law firm Heideman Nudelman & Kalik, PC, which has represented American victims of terror for more than 20 years to hold sponsors of terror legally accountable.
Notably, the court found that the terrorist who perpetrated the attack sought out “to find an English-speaking Israeli soldier of American origin.”
“We think it is poorly understood today, particularly in the context of the barbaric murder, maiming, beheading, burning and illegal hostage-taking by HAMAS committed on October 7th and continuing to this day, that HAMAS specifically targets Americans and English speakers, not just Israelis” said Richard D. Heideman, Senior Counsel of Heideman Nudelman & Kalik PC.
The court also honored the memory of Ari Fuld in observing that Ari Fuld was indeed a true hero, as in his final moments he was able to shoot his attacker, saving the life of a falafel shop employee that the terrorist was next pursuing.
“It’s not a military act, but it’s an act of defiance that is essential,” said Richard Heideman, who represented the Fuld estate in the lawsuit.
