Making list of resources, books, orgs, podcasts on social justice and identity politics
For children being read to, learning to read , parents, teachers, teenagers, young adults, book clubs in juvenile or adult detention facilities
I am working on a list of books, memoirs, biographies, autobiographies, nonfiction, documentary films, podcasts, organizations for children, teenagers, parents, teachers, early age snd older age adults who want to really learn information snd resources for personal and social justice issues. I know a lot that has influenced me and my former clients and colleagues but i also know i dont know everything. So i seek your input. I may make the list in categories to help users zero in on what they want to read to, or listen to ( first?).
Im thinking local snd national info and resources. To challenge people to explore and also help them reach out as necessary.
Esp like what would one read to get to a better understanding. What should parents read to their kids or suggest to their kids? Listen to , watch, seek on internet? Like what florida would prob ban if they could.
Thr library system in ny that gives anyone a card
Now what to read?
What to look for on internet?
Socisl justice issues and identity politics? Reading to kids to exploring issues as a teenager or young adult or parent.
