At last the time may have arrived for Congress to address the issue of Immigration. The Biden Administration has made a positive step towards moving forward with a positive plan.

DACA , is back on stream and USCIS is accepting applications again for processing.

10/23/2020

Last night, 10/22/2020 at the Presidential Debate, Presidential Candidate Joe Biden said this; "If he is elected the new President of the United States, that he will put DACA back in place." That is very good news for all those DACA potential recipients.

09/30/2020

On September 29th, 2020, United States District Judge, Jeffrey S. White ordered " a preliminary injunction and a stay of the effective date of the Final Rule, this preliminary injunction and stay shall take effect immediately and shall remain in effect pending trial in this action or further of this Court".

This in effect means that prior to October 02, 2020 whatever the old fees were still stand, and that when all the new fees for USCIS Filings would have been enacted on that date, the old USCIS Filing Fees, now remain as Law.

Lets get your USCIS Filings done.!!

09/04/2020

On October 20th, 2020, many of the current USCIS Filing Fees will be changed. Those Immigrants that will be filing forms such as an I-290B, I-360, I-539, I-589, I-601, I-601A, I-751, I-765, N-400, N-600, will be required under the new rules to pay a lot more.

The Immigration landscape has changed dramatically for the past three years especially the last six months. Some of the USCIS Filing Forms have not changed significantly as was anticipated after October 15th, 2019. Remember, there are appropriate benefits that you are entitled too under the Immigration Nationality Act (INA), and that is the Law!!

09/08/2019

The Immigrant Community, especially those seeking refuge and coming in from the Central American countries such as El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala are being treated horribly by the current Administration. Asylum cases are being severely scrutinized, not sure to what intent. Remember, the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) mandates that within one year of arrival in the USA, you have a right to file your I-589 USCIS Form.

.....and the beat goes on. Now that the DHS Secretary is gone, what will she be remembered for?...... The U.S.A. Immigration landscape has changed tremendously, gone is the "compassion aspect". Asylees coming through at our Southern Border with Mexico now have to wait on the Mexican side of the border, while their case works its way through the Courts. Word is that the President will be moving into even a much tougher direction where Immigration is concerned, and a lot more "diligent oversight" with regular filings in that regard What does that mean for those wishing to file petitions concerning an adjustment of their status with USCIS? We may see more of "Notice to Appear" (NTA) or "Notice of Intent to Deny" (NOI). Who knows, time will tell the tale. Be vigilant when filing petitions with USCIS.

Our country is at a critical junction as a deep, profound awareness of the impact caused by 'the Federal Government shutdown' sweep over the land. Federal Employees remain unpaid, Federal Contractors cannot get paid, and every other derivative with a Federal source is unpaid.
Some Federal Courts are closed, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services are rescheduling appointments, and the drum beat continues.......all because of a difference of opinion over A WALL on our Southern Border.

We need some 'adults' in those positions to rise up above Party Politics and work through this immediately towards a solution.

This is day 29!!!
