Attorney Margot Polivy, a hero and champion of women, is in large part the reason I had the same athletic opportunities as my male student counterparts. Without her, I likely wouldn’t have played the sports — soccer, speed skating, tennis, swimming— that shaped my life.

A lawyer and onetime physical education teacher, she became a prominent advocate for the landmark legislation known as Title IX.

President Biden’s federal ma*****na possession pardon has little to no effect on criminal immigration consequences.

The Biden administration is pardoning ma*****na offenses, but there's a different legislative move that will have a greater impact on noncitizens.

Every time I watch a Dateline mystery, I’m shocked at all the people that 1. Talk to police (hint, you have to right to remain silent) and 2. Do so without lawyers (hint, you have the right to a lawyer)! 🙄
