Below please find the RSVP link for the BARBRI Bar Talk on Wednesday, January 25th at 12 pm. The event is for interested 3Ls, but 2Ls and 1Ls are welcome to come and learn about the Bar. The lunch is Chick-Fil-A but students MUST RSVP to get lunch.

UNHCR Job Announcement: Protection Associate (TA) with the Caribbean Protection Unit in Washington

UNHCR Washington is hiring for a Protection Associate with the Caribbean Protection Unit! Please see the job description on their website: http://www.unhcr.org/en-us/employment-in-the-united-states.html

It’s a Temporary Appointment (TA), for a 3 month position, but it could work out well either for someone with immediate availability (to start December 1) or beginning next year (starting January 2). Application deadline is November 13.

In a special cultural evening, we will recreate a visit to this Caribbean Jewel of elegance, charm, music, dance great food, laughter and more!
Featuring:
1) NATIVE BARBADOS DJ - DJ PUMPKIN: Playing Barbados/Caribbean style music, DJ PUMPKIN will take us on a fantastic musical journey to Barbados as we dance to his special Island music, participate in a limbo contest, and recreates an island atmosphere!

2) BARBADOS FOOD:
Enjoy a specially prepared buffet of authentic food native to Barbados. Including:
Cucumber, Tomato, Onion and Avocado Salad
Curried Chicken
Stew Chicken, Rice and Peas

6) Charity: A portion of Tonight's event will go to help charities assisting children throughout the Caribbean.
7) WIN A TRIP TO THE CARIBBEAN: A Drawing will be held where one lucky winner will take home a trip to the Caribbean - Plane and Hotel included!

Suggested Attire: Smart Casual. For example, khakis and sports shirts or summer dresses. No jeans or shorts, but ties and business attire are not necessary. (This is an indoor event.

As everyone is aware, tragedy has struck the Caribbean with the damage caused by Hurricane Matthew. WCL’s newly founded Caribbean Law Students Association is asking everyone to please donate to UNICEF's Hurricane Matthew Relief Efforts. The link is below.
