“A Light That Never Dimmed”
In Loving Memory of Bob Miller
There are souls the world is gifted once in time,
Whose hearts beat not for self, but for mankind.
Bob, you were that light — steady, kind, and true,
A man whose faith and love shone brightly through.
You walked this earth with purpose in your stride,
Compassion as your compass, God as your guide.
You lifted the weary, healed hearts that were torn,
Reminding us daily why we were born.
In EMS, your touch reached far and wide,
A healer, teacher, and leader with pride.
You trained the hands that save each day,
And showed us grace along the way.
Education was your gift, your call,
You gave your heart, you gave your all.
Patient care, your sacred art —
Each life you touched, you touched the heart.
So many talents, too vast to name,
Each one a testament to your flame.
Your steady hands, your gentle tone,
Made others feel they weren’t alone.
Never a harsh word crossed your lips,
Only wisdom and warmth in gentle scripts.
You’d give your last dime, your coat, your care,
For anyone burdened, you were always there.
A mentor, a brother, a friend so grand,
With strength of spirit and steady hand.
In every task, in every plan,
You built others up — that’s the measure of a man.
But most of all, your truest pride
Was Lori’s love there by your side.
Her smile, your calm; her touch, your peace —
Together, a bond that will never cease.
And to your children — your heart’s pure song —
You live through them, your love lives strong.
They’ll carry your light, your laughter, your grace,
Forever reflecting their father’s face.
Now Heaven holds what Earth must miss,
And angels greet you with gentle bliss.
Rest easy, Bob — your race well run,
Your work complete, your crown well won.
Keep us in line, as you always did,
With faith and humor, wisdom, and wit.
Until that day when we see you again,
We’ll honor your life, our brother, our friend.
RIP, Bob — a son of God, forever loved.
