This is my wonderful mentor from law school! ❤️

I still remember going to him in tears because I had received a “C.” I had never seen a C in my life! 😂 I was devastated.

He mentored me through some of the hardest moments of law school, and I know I’m where I am today because of people like him who believed in me.

Whenever I went to Chicago for trainings, he’d tell me to meet him for lunch. He always paid, and if I tried to pull out my credit card, he’d say, “You can pay when you become a big-shot attorney.”

Fast forward to today… when we go out to eat, I pull out my credit card, smile and say:

“I got this. I’m a big-shot attorney now.” ❤️😂

Full-circle moments are the best. Forever grateful for this man and his mentorship. ❤️

I traveled to El Paso and walked across the bridge into Ciudad Juárez to see firsthand what many of my clients experience when they come for their immigration interview.

I wanted to understand the process from their perspective:

✨ seeing where many of my clients stay
