July 7, 2026 - Warrensburg, Johnson County Justice Center

Today our office is proud to share that our own Adam Sommer, acting as a Special Prosecutor for Johnson County, assisted with a successful prosecution and Jury conviction on a DWI matter that occurred here in Johnson County. The Jury deliberations lasted approximately 90 minutes with a unanimous verdict of "Guilty." Mr. Zachary Sherwood, APA for the State, provided trial presentation for his first jury trial, having previously been a student under Mr. Sommer at University of Central Missouri and a member of the UCM Mock Trial program.

It is "National Police Week" and our office recognizes the constant efforts of the departments we work with on a regular basis in Higginsville Police Department - K**b Noster Police - Clinton Missouri Police Department and, just down the way from our offices, the Warrensburg Police Department. Plus a thank you to Chief Stropes in Leeton for his service!

Our firm has provided prosecution services for local communities for years. We enjoy getting to work with some amazing and dedicated public servants.
