To Our Respected and Valued Clients;
As we deal with and feel the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we remain committed to assisting your needs.
During this time, our office shall remain open; however, we are taking necessary precautions as the virus continues to spread. If you currently have an appointment or would like to schedule an appointment, we will gladly do that for you. However, if your appointment or consultation can be done via telephone, we ask that you consider that option.
If you are feeling ill or under the weather, we respectfully ask that you reschedule your appointment to a later date or that communication occur through a different medium, i.e. via a telephone call or email. We have Kleenex and hand sanitizer available for those who need them; however, as we work to limit exposure to our staff and other clients, we will be limiting those areas in which the public has access, inclusive of our restroom. In conjunction with the aforementioned limitations, we ask that children not attend or be present during any appointment or consultation, unless their appearance is specifically requested by your attorney.
Please note that the Missouri Supreme Court has ordered a temporary stoppage regarding public hearings, especially those of which that are not considered an emergency. This stoppage means that all divorces, paternity actions, municipal court matters, most criminal cases, and all estate hearings will be rescheduled to a later date. A copy of the aforementioned order can be found at: https://www.courts.mo.gov/page.jsp?id=151973. Nevertheless, the Johnson County Circuit Court is only operating for very limited and specific purposes.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office.
