Can you believe it? $500 for one notarization.

Someone offered me $500 to notarize a document improperly. No hesitation. No second thought. I turned it down immediately.

The entire purpose of a notarization is fraud prevention. A notary’s job is to protect the signer, the document, and the integrity of the process. That is not something I will ever compromise, no matter the amount.

I gave that client the opportunity to do things the right way. They refused and walked away.

And that is perfectly fine with me.

Did you know that Kenya is not part of the Hague Convention? This is important to know before you start the process of getting your documents ready for use there.

Because Kenya is a non-Hague country, your documents will go through the document legalization process rather than a standard apostille. Depending on the type of document and the specific requirements, you may also need certified translation.
