Well folks, they are at it again. The local powers that be are exercising their stolen rights of manifest destiny and imminent domain and have very likely been planning this massive land grab and power grab since they were defeated last time, 20-something years ago, when they called it the Sunrise Power Link. With absolutely zero regard to the fire dangers or to a national treasure like the Anza Borrego State Park or these incredibly abundant and unspoiled backcountry lands, including Palomar Mountain. Temecula, Warner Springs, Borrego, this is not one of those not-in-my-backyard NIMBY issues, this doesn't belong anywhere. Full stop. Please sign the petitions, write your representatives, show up to the town hall meetings. There's one coming up on the 18th with the San Diego Board of Supervisors. Change your locks, do not invite the vampires in, and just say no.
