🏘️ Real Talk — Crime Rates in Macon vs. Warner Robins

Both Macon and Warner Robins have their areas to be aware of — that's just the reality of any city. But I'd rather be straight with you than blow smoke and hope you don't find out on your own. That's not how I do business. 👇

Warner Robins has its spots, but Macon is currently leading the pack when it comes to crime. The good news is that Macon's crime is pretty well isolated to specific areas. The neighborhoods to pay close attention to are around Houston Avenue on the south side of Macon and areas around Bloomfield or Mumford Drive — predominantly on the immediate southern side of the city.

Warner Robins has been building at full speed since around 2000 when it was dubbed "Little Atlanta" for being the fastest growing city in Georgia. That means you'll find a wide variety of newer homes, most less than 20 years old, with some already sporting mature trees and established landscaping.

The median home price in Warner Robins sits around $280K — reflecting the newer, more modern housing stock throughout the city.

New construction is still going strong too! Lennar Builders is currently working on Emerald Oaks Subdivision off Dunbar Road on the north side of Warner Robins, featuring one and two-story, 3 and 4 bedroom homes with Hardie Plank clapboard siding, granite countertops, ceramic tile bathrooms, and two-car garages. 🏘️
