I will not continue with political rant, but I will take a moment to thank CNN for their recent story on "Dreamers". To my friends that have asked about my week, and the real, raw conversations with my clients, this is just a glimpse. I suggest you read it and take it to heart. Whatever your political view, these people are our future, and I want them here. I want them to feel safe. My days are now spent acting as not only their attorney and advocate, but their friend, their peer, and someone to listen to their concerns, and help. I advise them not to panic, but to be proactive and work with the laws we have to best protect them, their families, and their future. Please be kind to your neighbor, your fellow BART rider, and the human being walking past you on the street. Isn't that what makes us American?
