Momma’s Best Dam Burger Recipe
This burger recipe is packed with flavor and perfect for the grill, cabin, campsite, or quick family meals. The secret ingredient gives these burgers an unbelievable smoky BBQ taste and helps keep them juicy.
Ingredients
2 lbs ground burger
A couple of dashes of salt
A couple of dashes of garlic salt
Couple dashes lemon pepper
About 1/2 cup Famous Dave’s Rich & Sassy BBQ Sauce
Optional: extra seasoning or BBQ sauce if needed
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground burger, salt, garlic salt, and lemon pepper.
Add the Famous Dave’s Rich & Sassy BBQ Sauce and mix everything together well.
The secret is getting the meat mixture sticky enough to hold together while still smelling amazing. Add a little more BBQ sauce or seasoning if needed.
Use a patty maker if possible and weigh out patties. We like making them around 7 oz each for a thick, juicy burger.
Place patties on wax paper.
Either throw them directly on the grill or freeze them for later.
Once frozen, vacuum seal in packs of 3 for easy, quick meals anytime.
Grill Tips
Cook over medium heat until burgers reach your preferred doneness.
Toast the buns on the grill for extra flavor.
Top with cheese, crispy bacon, grilled onions, or your favorite burger toppings.
Napa Nate Tip
We usually make 15–20 pounds at a time, so there’s always burgers ready for cabin weekends, lake days, or quick suppers after fishing.
