The U.S. Department of Education has launched an investigation into Burlington Public Schools after complaints filed by the Massachusetts Liberty Legal Center on behalf of Burlington parents.

This comes after children as young as 11 were forced to take a grotesque, sexually explicit survey—without parental consent—that violated both their innocence and federal law.

We applaud the DOE for taking this step and will continue to call on the Burlington School Committee to end its use of the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, adopt an opt-in policy, and hold Superintendent Eric Conti accountable.

🚨 MLLC Is in Court Today Defending Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers 🚨

Today, the Massachusetts Liberty Legal Center (MLLC), together with our allies at the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), is in federal court taking a stand against the Commonwealth’s unconstitutional attacks on pregnancy resource centers (PRCs).

Massachusetts officials have launched a coordinated campaign to silence PRCs simply because they offer life-affirming alternatives to abortion. These state-sponsored efforts, pushed by pro-abortion activists, are not about protecting consumers—they're about shutting down a viewpoint the government disagrees with.

Our lawsuit defends the First and Fourteenth Amendment rights of these centers, which serve women every day with compassion, care, and real choices. The government cannot be allowed to weaponize its power to intimidate and censor ministries that refuse to promote abortion.

We ask for your prayers today as we present our case in court. This is about defending freedom of speech, equal protection under the law, and the right to serve women and families without fear.

When Lester Smith read an article naming New Bedford, MA as the least “Bible-minded” city in America, he felt God’s call to start a Bible study for fellow residents of his senior living community in New Bedford. But, when Lester approached the management to reserve the community room, he was told that it was not available for a Bible study because God and the Bible were “sensitive topics.”

We immediately sent a letter to building management stating that if they did not allow him to host his study, we would take legal action. After some communications with their attorney, the management agreed to our demands.

Next week, Lester will host his first Bible study in the community room!

We have filed a lawsuit in partnership with ACLJ against Governor Healey, the MA Department of Public Health, and Reproductive Equity Now. Due to the State’s malicious smear campaign against pro-life pregnancy resource centers, centers like our client, Your Options Medical, have been targeted for defamation, intimidation, and harassment because of their pro-life message and deeply held Christian convictions. We’re standing up against these unconstitutional attacks.
