The TARA Approach THE TARA APPROACH for the Resolution of Shock and Trauma is a unique fusion of Western neuroscience and Eastern energy medicine.

The TARA Approach is available to communities in need under the auspices of the Dom Project, the 501.c.3 non-profit umbrella for all TARA Approach programs and publications. The Dom Project is named for Domingo Orejudos, the first person to die of AIDS in Boulder County, Colorado. His death inspired Dr. Mines and her husband, environmental attorney Robert E. Yuhnke, to share the resources they use

Of all the many affronts conjured up by the malicious governments now in power, nothing is more egregious than the abandonment of the health of children and families everywhere. Not only has health been abandoned, but governments also now actively afflict health and undermine wellbeing, placing the greatest burdens on babies, children and women.

You could say that the TARA Approach was conceived during the sixties and seventies when I was mentored into my sovereignty by the women who espoused Our Bodies Ourselves and related self-care advocacy. They introduced me to the lineage of women led self-care practices that stem from antiquity. Self-care is not an alternative offshoot or a product sold on Amazon for cheap.
