My office will close permanently on Friday, September 20, as I move to a new position as an Assistant Federal Public Defender.
Private practice has been wonderful, and I have really enjoyed the people my office has served over the years, so this transition is bittersweet.

I’m so glad Judge Hodges was one of my misdemeanor judges back when I started at the DA’s office (my first jury trial was in front of him). He taught all of us so much, and we all used to want to be in his court on Thursday mornings.

Now, I have the honor of serving with him in mental health court, and it’s so evident to me the good he is doing in our community. He is truly changing lives for the better, and our county is so blessed to have his guidance and leadership.

Judge David Hodges entered the mental health treatment court graduation ceremony, looked around in surprise and noted that the large crowd far exceeded those of other ceremonies.
