About 6 months ago, I decided to because of health reasons (i.e stress) to take sometime off. Another reason was because of the current administrations abandonment of Criminal Justice Reform and The First Step Act.
Another reason was because my stepson Billy's first parole hearing here in Texas. I didn't want to make any waves or ruffle any feathers that would cause his denial.
Unfortunately I found out it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Billy was denied.
I'm going to take this one step at a time and see where it leads me. I want to be involved only on a case by case basis. The days of handling 30 cases all at once are over.
I want to try to help inmates of all types of crimes the ability to challenge conditions, seek out assistance with housing and classifications. I will investigate cases on a case by case basis.
I have excellent connections with great attorneys but again as it's always been, it will take money to make that happen.
So for now stay tuned and reach out if you have any questions. I'll be doing a video this weekend to explain further.
