Spring R. Thummel grew up in southwest Kansas, and attended Sterling College where she earned her B.A. Spring has made the Waco area her home since 2000, when she relocated to attend Baylor University School of Law. Spring earned her J.D. While at Baylor University School of Law, she was a member of the Baylor Order of Barristers. Spring focuses her law practice on family law issues, and is a member of the McLennan County Bar Association, Waco-McLennan County Young Lawyers Association (Treasurer 2008-2009; Secretary 2009-2010; Vice President 2010-2011), the McLennan County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Spring was named as the Outstanding Mentor by the Waco-McLennan County Young Lawyers Association for 2011.
