September is Newborn Screening Awareness Month, and we’re celebrating the simple test that saves thousands of lives every single year.

It’s a heel prick that checks for more than 30 serious but treatable health conditions. This screening gives babies the best chance at a healthy start by catching issues before symptoms even appear.

It’s , and this year’s theme is “Work. Pump. Advance. Empowering the modern parent.” 🤱 At WIC, we support working parents by providing breast pumps, peer support and lactation experts, nutritious food, and personalized food packages to support your breastfeeding goals.

We believe breastfeeding parents should be able to feed their babies or toddlers (or pump/hand express milk!) at work, school, and in public with respect and support. Learn more about your breastfeeding rights: https://bit.ly/4wy5eq1

: el tema de este año es “Trabaje. Extráigase leche. Avance.
