Happy New Year everyone! No major new notary laws to report for 2018 but glad to announce I will soon be offering Loan Signing services to help with the process of attaining your new home. Wishing everyone the best year yet! 🎉

As we all prepare to welcome the 2017 New Year here's a few new laws to keep in mind when seeking a Notary Public's services:

✏️ As of January 1st CA Notary fees for jurats, acknowledgements, and affidavits will go up from $10 to $15.

✏️ Fees for other Notarial Acts will also increase.

✏️Notaries will be allowed to accept tribal identification cards.

✏️Notaries will be allowed to accept consular identification cards and foreign passports.

I am officially open for business! Like most everyone else, I work the good ol' 9-5 shift and so I want to provide my services to those people like me, who can't get things done because of their work hours.
