We remodeled the law firm for our 100 year anniversary back in 2008. We are so thankful we have this glass door to witness documents being signed. We have even added a COVID19 mascot in our lobby. This knight normally gets dressed up for birthdays, but he's sporting some new attire these days.

Our hearts are aching for our dear friends and neighbors. We are so proud to be a Vinton business. This community truly rallies together. The first picture was taken last night. You can see how close the flames were to John's black car, which was parked behind the office. We were afraid the fire was going to spread to the rest of the block. So much thanks goes out to the Vinton volunteer firefighters and their families.

There were many local volunteers that ran into our office and helped us retrieve our files, computers, and special memories. We are truly blessed to live in such a caring and giving community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted.

Happy New Year! Now is a great time to review your Will and Power of Attorney documents to ensure they are up to date. My will was 10 1/2 years old. Since then, I've had two more kids and one sad death. It made me realize how much can change in a short amount of time. Cherish today. Also, I didn't want to be like the cobbler's children with no shoes. Please make sure your documents are up to date too!
