Mission Statement: The mission of the High Desert Community Coalition is to prevent youth and adult substance use disorders and related harms. We work collectively to implement environmental, evidence-based strategies to strengthen protective factors and eliminate risk factors that contribute to underage drinking and drug use. We are a community partnership of concerned residents, involved youth, educators, business owners, law enforcement, health advocates, and others who are focused on preventing and reducing alcohol and substance abuse, especially among youth, in the High Desert.
