the Republican party has sunk to a new low. What this references is in the Senate version of the bill to reopen the government 7 Senators (maybe 😎 and included a provision paying themselves $500,000 each because the Justice Department looked at their phone records for involvement in the January 6 riots. NO MONEY for any police officers injured in the riot, full pardon for everyone who participated in the MOB and now 4 million dollars without any claim of damage or harm as a result of a lawful investigation. Texas has a new special District Court as of September 1, 2024, and a new Court of Appeals. The new District Court is called the Business Court and will be located in each Judicial Administrative District (San Antonio of us) as of now. It is intended for complex business disputes, and for actions involving publicly traded companies and certain types of actions involving $5 million in damages or more. More information can be found in Chapter 25A of the Texas Government Code

We have already moved to privatize the CPS system in our area. The private entity for Victoria and surrounding counties is "Belong" Their website is Belong.org. Belong is the State contracting entity of St. Jude's Ranch for Children (SJRC), which you can read about at sjrctexas.org.

It’s no secret that the foster care system in Texas is a mess. But beginning Friday, there will be big changes to try to fix that.

Lately I've been getting appointments to CPS cases. I had no idea how bad it is for kids out there. And I don't blame CPS. The fault for the problem with this video is unaccountable parents and a legislature that refuses to fund.

This is what happens when lawyers don't know when to shut their mouth. Some things about courtroom behavior: 1. A party should NEVER CONTACT THE JUDGE DIRECTLY. That appears to be what started this mess. 2. Neither a lawyer nor a witness should ever INTERRUPT the Court. I am very surprised that this judge let these lawyers talk over him. Finally, I am not sure what this guy is wearing, but don't wear clothing with any kind of message. AND STANDUP WHEN YOU are speaking to to the Court. The Judge can always tell you to take a seat.
