🎉For 34 years, Chuck has been a steady voice at Cole, Cole, Easley & Sciba - and anyone who knows him knows he’s never been shy about saying exactly what he thinks. That straight talk runs in the family. He got it from his father, Emmett Cole, Jr., and over the years, Chuck has put that same straightforward approach to work for clients who needed someone in their corner.
Before joining the firm, Chuck spent two years as a missionary in Zimbabwe, drilling water wells in drought-stricken communities. That same instinct — show up, do the work, and help the person in front of you — is still how he practices law today.
When he isn’t in the office or the courtroom, Chuck can usually be found somewhere between a story and a suitcase. He loves traveling the world, visiting his grandkids, and telling the kind of stories that somehow get longer and better every time. He also loves cycling and is perfectly willing to ride 15 miles or more to work — electric bike or not. And no tribute would be complete without Molly, the Maltipoo who runs the house and, we suspect, most of the schedule.
Chuck, thank you for the candor, the stories, your loyalty to this firm and this community, and 34 years of standing up for people who needed a voice. We are glad you’re ours.
