Today we remember all those affected by the unimaginable event, 9/11. In remembrance of the 2,977 lives lost 19 years ago, the countless number of families affected and the first responders who put their lives on the line in a time of uncertainty and fear. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who have been affected by this tragic event.

It is the beginning of September which means back to school for many families in our community. As it is an unnerving time to be sending our kids back to school, we can continue to try to keep them safe with a few precautions when driving. Please be cautious of students walking to school, school busses frequently stopping along with children crossing the road, and school zone speed limits. We can all work together to try to keep our community safe in a time of uncertainty.
