Thanks to our amazing clients, KKC raised $1,167 for Land For Good at our recent Document Shred Event!

Since 2004, Land For Good has helped farmers across New England access farmland, plan for farm succession, and keep agricultural land in the hands of farmers. As a law firm that has proudly served local agricultural communities for decades, we're honored to support their mission.

Last week, KKC Partner Allison Poirier officially presented the check to Land For Good. This was an especially proud moment for Allison, who also serves on the organization's Board of Directors!

Over the summer, we raised $255 for the Coventry Scholarship Foundation through our monthly Denim Days fundraising program.

Also known as Dollars for Scholars, this nonprofit has helped Coventry High School graduates pay for their college education for more than 34 years.

Today, KKC Partner and Coventry Scholarship Foundation President Matt Willis proudly received the check alongside members of our Denim Day Fundraising Committee, Ivy Fontaine, Eva Holmes, and Lorraine Hicks!

KKC hosted its 6th Annual Client Shred Event last weekend! 📰🚛

Each year, this event gives us an opportunity to serve our clients and support a local cause.

Our clients rose to the occasion by donating $1,167 to Land For Good, an organization that helps farmers and landowners navigate farm access, tenure, and transfer so that more farmland can remain in active agricultural use.

The KKC team assisted in collecting clients’ documents so they could be shredded and safely disposed of. Together, we nearly filled the shred truck, collecting 33 bins of documents throughout the event!

A big thank you to all our clients who joined us and contributed, as well as the attorneys, staff, mini helpers, and our baby mascot who volunteered their time to make the day a success. We appreciate everyone who helped make this year’s event another great one!

If you’ve been served with a restraining order, it’s imperative to approach your hearing with the right legal strategy.

📢👖 Monthly Denim Days Update:

Each month, the KKC team has the option to wear jeans on Fridays in exchange for a small donation to a local charity. Last month, we raised $215 for Joshua’s Trust!

This September, donations will support the Coventry Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars, Inc. KKC Partner Matt Willis serves as the foundation’s president, leading them in their mission of providing financial aid to Coventry high school graduates as they pursue post-secondary education. 🎓

Dollars for Scholars has been supporting students in our local community for 34 years, and we’re proud to support them this month!
