Ledbetter is a licensed attorney representing clients throughout Sarasota, Charlotte, and Manatee Counties in Estate Planning (e.g., Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Health Care Surrogate Designation), Probate, Trust Administration, Business Succession Planning, Guardianship, and Real Estate (including Title Insurance). He has been working as an attorney in these areas since 2002.

With the support of his experienced team, including paralegals who have over 60 years of combined experience in the probate and real estate fields, Steven collaborates with clients across Florida’s Gulf Coast, including Venice, North Port, Englewood, Osprey, Nokomis, Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Punta Gorda. Steven is a regular speaker on Estate Planning, Florida Residency, Trusts, and Homestead topics. A former President of the South County Division of the Sarasota Bar Association, Steven actively serves on the boards of local non-profit and charitable organizations. He also contributes to the community through service clubs and coaching youth sports at the local YMCA. A native Floridian, Steven is married to his wife, Lissa, and together they are the proud parents of three boys: Calder, Fisher, and Aaron. CALLIE W**D COWAN, ESQ. Callie W**d Cowan, Esq., became a partner at the newly named Ledbetter Cowan Law Group in 2025, marking a milestone in her legal career and underscoring her dedication to serving families in her community. Licensed to practice law in Florida since 2008, Callie is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law. Callie joined the firm in 2021, bringing her extensive experience in Family Law and her leadership in the nonprofit sector, including roles at Pregnancy Solutions and The Twig. As a Venice native, she combines her passion for supporting families with her legal expertise in Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Trust Administration. She is committed to assisting clients as they plan for their future or navigate the challenges of loss. Her approach is deeply informed by her nonprofit leadership, her understanding of family law, and her heart for helping others. Callie lives in Venice with her husband, Nate, and their three children: Patrick, Grace, and David.
