Clark County deserves leadership that practices transparency.

If there is a *legitimate* legal reason for removing a judge from cases, that reason should be clearly articulated and made public.

If there is no nefarious intent, then the concern should be explained in concrete terms so the community can understand it.

It is unfair to the public not to know. Transparency builds trust. Withholding explanation erodes it.

This matters. Especially when confidence in fairness is already fragile.

Justice requires accountability.

Over the past month, Clark County deputy prosecutors have sought to sideline Superior Court Judge Tsering Cornell from overseeing dozens of cases involving violent and sexual offenses.

Today was supposed to be our campaign launch, and I want to begin by saying thank you.

The event sold out to full capacity, and the support leading up to it meant more to me than I can adequately express.

Over the past several weeks, I have been responding to an unexpected military request that came through my chain of command to serve in a legal advisory capacity related to upcoming military matters. This process is still developing, and official orders and timing are currently being finalized.

For now, the campaign launch remains postponed.

I am deeply grateful for the patience, encouragement, and trust I have received. I will share an update once there is official clarity.

Campaign Update

Due to rapidly developing and time sensitive military obligations, I have made the responsible decision to postpone my January 15 campaign launch at this time.

This development was unexpected. My commitment to service, both to this community and to our country, requires clarity and stability before moving forward.

All tickets purchased for the January 15 campaign launch dinner will be refunded. Campaign contributions will continue to be used in accordance with campaign finance laws and to support work already underway.

I will share next steps as soon as I am able. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Actions speak louder than words.

In 2025, I balanced military service, a full civilian caseload, and deep ties to the community that raised me. I wrote 40+ briefs from scratch, tried multiple jury cases, litigated contested hearings, and managed a caseload that at one point exceeded 400. Along the way, I stepped in where needed, shared workload and strategy, and helped advance policy changes that allowed cases to move faster and eased burnout in an overextended system.

This is disciplined, results-driven public service.

I believe in justice that is firm, fair, and focused on outcomes. Public safety matters. Accountability matters. However, people should leave the system *better* than when they entered it.

That is how I serve now; and how I will lead as Clark County’s next Prosecuting Attorney.
