About the position:

· Route Attendants work five nights per week: Mon, Wed, Thur, Sat, Sun and have Tues, Fri off.

· Shift Times: 8 PM to 10:00 or 10:30 PM.

· This is physically demanding work that involves walking up flights of stairs and carrying 20-30 pounds back down the stairs.

· You must have your own truck or a vehicle that can pull a company owned trailer to this job.

· Customer service and recycling are important aspects of this position. If they are important to you then you are encouraged to apply.

ZipEco Recycling & Waste is Recycling First service company that provides door-to- door service to tenants in high end apartment complex throughout the Portland/ Vancouver area. This is an essential position that takes place outdoors and has social distancing measures built in the job description, so it is not vulnerable to stay at home orders. We are looking for a Route Attendant to bring the recycling and waste from the doorstep to the compactor/recycling enclosure and placing it in the correct bin. The shifts start at 8pm and end by 10:30 p.m five nights per week. Most routes service approximately 10-15 buildings/150 units per night. The gross pay is $830 per month.

This is a physically demanding job that requires you to walk up 20-30 flights of stairs each night and carry 20-30 pounds or material down the stairs. It also requires you to have your own pickup or a vehicle that can pull a company owned trailer. Since it is a physical job, many of our staff members cancel their gym memberships to cut expenses.

ZipEco Recycling & Waste, llc is a fully licensed service company that provides maintenance/janitorial services to apartment complexes in the Pacific Northwest. This is a great part-time job for college students or professional adults who want to make extra money in the evening. And, because we go up and down stairs, we don’t need gym memberships – we get paid for working out!

Route Attendant’s work five evenings per week, beginning at 8 pm. A Route Attendant picks up garbage and recycling from the apartment tenants' front door, then takes the garbage to an onsite compactor and puts the recycling into appropriate containers.

Work Nights - All of the Following: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.
Nights Off: Tuesday and Friday.

*Requirements:
-You must have your own Pickup Truck, or a vehicle with a trailer hitch and the ability to pull and store a small company owned trailer during the day
-Valid Driver's License
-Good driving record

Physical Requirements of the Job:
This is a physical job that requires you to climb stairs while carrying garbage, lifting heavy bags into the back of a truck and into a compactor. Most lifting is 20-30 pounds, but occasionally up to 50 pounds.
