Housing discrimination and segregation are the most pernicious evils that we continue to fight. So many of the other forms of racism (employment, education, policing) flow from our historical and current racial segregation. There is nothing natural about racial segregation in housing. It was created by deliberate actions and policy choices. Which means it can only be dismantled and undone by deliberate actions and policy choices.
